Dev Log - Entry #8


The Plan

Today is actually a sum-up of a few days in which I had time here and there for some fine-tuning and a couple of additions. Nonetheless, my aim was to get some of the base functionality ready just so I can already see how the fist would work in different situations. 

Progress

So other than making the prism look different based on the behavior, I also made sure to separate each prism into its own prefab so I can easily manage each functionality without over-cluttering the inspector with properties. 

Other than that I continued working on the dragging mechanism which still seems unfinished. I didn't want to dwell on that too much though so I decided to move on for now and actually get things working with the elemental punching idea.

 Sooo.. I went back to the pile of rocks I made before and I simply added a condition that checks if the fist has been given the corresponding element type before making it take damage. I'm still not focusing on design so for now I'm settling on a simple sprite color change to help me differentiate between the element types.
